    How the resizer works

    1. Choose the platforms that the restaurant sells on.
    2. Add up to 25 photos. They stay in your browser.
    3. The resizer keeps the centre of each photo and cuts the edges to fit the ratio of each platform. Then it makes the photo smaller, to the size in the table below.
    4. Download one file, or download all the files as one zip. The zip has one folder for each platform.

The resizer does not enlarge a photo. If a photo is below the minimum size of a platform, the resizer tells you and makes no file for that platform.

    Photo sizes by delivery platform

The second column is the size that the resizer makes. Where the third column says recommended, the platform does not publish an exact number and the size is our suggestion.

    Questions

What size should a menu photo be for Uber Eats, DoorDash and Deliveroo?

Uber Eats and Deliveroo ask for at least 1200 x 800 px, and Deliveroo uses a 3:2 ratio for dishes. DoorDash does not publish an exact size, so we recommend a square of 1200 x 1200 px, because the app crops to the centre square. The resizer makes these sizes for you.

Check one photo against the rules of each platform

Does the resizer upload my photos?

No. The resizer reads and resizes each photo in your browser. No photo is sent to a server, and no photo is stored.

Can I resize many photos at one time?

Yes. Add up to 25 photos and choose the platforms. You can download each file, or download all the files as one zip. The zip has one folder for each platform, and each file keeps its name.

How does the resizer crop a photo?

It keeps the centre of the photo and cuts the edges to fit the ratio of the platform. Most delivery apps crop from the centre also. For that reason, put the dish in the centre and leave some space around it when you take the photo.

Does it make a small photo larger?

No. A photo that is made larger looks soft. If a photo is below the minimum size of a platform, the resizer tells you and makes no file for that platform.

What file format do I get?

JPEG. Each platform in the list accepts JPEG, and Deliveroo and Foodpanda accept only JPEG. The resizer keeps each file below the file size limit of its platform.

Can the resizer fix a dark or blurred photo?

No. It changes the size and the crop only. MenuPhotoAI makes a professional menu photo from a phone photo of the real dish, and you can try it with 5 free photos.
